Matakana Country Park is the new home of the historic St Andrews Presbyterian Church, built in Matakana in 1895. The Church is constructed of kauri and still has its original kauri pews which can seat up to 100 people.
The Church is available for you to bring your own minister or celebrant. Alternatively, we can make recommendations for you.
Imported from Germany - this beautiful Victorian carriage is the perfect vehicle to deliver you to your dream wedding. This carriage seats two adults and two children. The carriage is drawn by Floris - a Friesian Stallion - one of 30 or so Friesian horses in New Zealand. He has been extensively trained and has featured in movies and on television.
The Friesian Horse is a Dutch breed renowned for their long flowing manes and tails, elegant movement and gentle nature.
